Dear Devotees and Friends of the TOVP,
Hare Krishna! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!
This is the final Newsletter for the year 2020, and what a year it has been indeed! Due to the covid pandemic we had to stop all construction for almost eight months, resulting in a change to the installation date of the new Prabhupada murti as well as, most importantly, pushing back the Grand Opening of the TOVP to 2023. Finances were also seriously affected as donors found it difficult to keep up with pledge payments.
However, construction has resumed, funds are slowly coming in, and we are back on track for progress in 2021. With your continued support for which we are most grateful, we will keep pushing forward, depending on the mercy of the Lord.
This Newsletter is also a last reminder regarding the TOVP Book of Devotion, a one-of-a-kind offering of the names of donors to Srila Prabhupada at his new murti installation in October, 2021, his 125th Appearance Anniversary Year. To be included please complete your pledge (starting with the Nrsimha Brick and up) by the end of the year. The details of this amazing publication are in an article below.
This is also a reminder to sponsor an abhisheka for the above mentioned Prabhupada murti installation. We want every single devotee in ISKCON to participate in welcoming His Divine Grace to the TOVP with an abhisheka, also helping to offer him a combined worldwide Guru Dakshina of $1 million.
The TOVP Team and I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, and we wish you a most Krishna conscious New Year in the service of Guru and Gauranga.
Your servant,
Ambarisa das
Chairman
