Dear Devotees and Friends of the TOVP,
Hare Krishna! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!
HAPPY KARTIK TO ONE AND ALL!
I hope you have been having an ecstatic month of Damodar, remembering the Lord’s pastime of being bound by a rope by mother Yasoda. And I also hope you were able to observe Govardhana Puja and the disappearance day of Srila Prabhupada in a meaningful way, despite the worldwide lockdowns.
As Kartik comes to a close we wish to remind you to use this auspicious time to sponsor an abhisheka for the new Prabhupada murti installation in the TOVP now re-scheduled for October, 2021. There are five kinds of abhishekas and their cost is arranged so you can even sponsor one for each of your family members. We want to make this ceremony an International welcome and greeting for Srila Prabhupada to the TOVP from every devotee in ISKCON. You can click HERE right now to do so.
Another important day coming up on December 1 is #GivingTuesday, the International Day of Giving. You can also sponsor an abhisheka on this day. And if you are a US resident and donate through our Facebook Page, TOVP Foundation, Facebook will match your donation. Read more in the article below.
I would like to encourage those of you who have pledges pending to complete them by the end of the year to have your name included in the extraordinary TOVP Book of Devotion which will be offered to Srila Prabhupada at his installation ceremony in October, 2021. Read more in the article below.
Lastly, I wish to announce the GBCs approval of the design and size for the samadhi of His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami. Construction will begin immediately and completion is scheduled within four months. Braja Vilasa prabhu is personally overseeing this project. Please read more below.
I hope you enjoy and receive inspiration from all the articles in this TOVP Newsletter. We resumed construction in September and are trying to get back on track so we can open by 2023. Your continued support is gratefully appreciated.
Your servant,
Ambarisa das
Chairman
